The reason I started blogging can be summed up simply: because I really enjoy it and because (I believe) I can help people.

Through all the books I’ve read, I’ve gained quite a bit of self-knowledge. And by getting to know myself better, I’ve also learned where certain behaviors come from. This has allowed me to recognize those behaviors in others. When those people are frustrated with their own behavior, I can recommend some books to them. After all, you can change yourself, although it does take some effort.

I find deep discussions very interesting. I’m not interested in superficial chatter like,
“How was work?”
“Boring, I wish it was Friday already.”
You probably know the type. They just complain but never change.

I’m currently learning to accept such people. Everyone is living their own life, and some people are comfortable where they are, even if that means playing the victim.

Not everyone wants help, that’s just how it is. And everyone learns at their own pace. Even though I often use the following metaphor, I still sometimes struggle to accept it.

A baby bird learns to fly from the ground up, so it first has to fall out of the nest before it learns how to fly. If you catch the bird, it will never learn to fly.

So from now on, when I meet someone who wants advice, I’ll just recommend my blog. I’ll probably recommend it when people complain to me too, because I’m just not (yet) very good at only listening to other people’s problems.
I truly mean well, but I find it hard when people interpret that differently. The world could be an even more beautiful place if everyone truly knew themselves and understood why people behave the way they do.

The goal of this blog is to offer all the knowledge I can to help others. And when, over time, I can turn this blog into a full-time job, I’ll be living the way I want to live—from my passion for writing and my love for helping others.

Thank you for reading this and helping me with my goal ❤️

What is your goal?

Love, Lana
