A little while ago, we saw this film in the cinema—and if you’ve seen the earlier Final Destination movies, this one is definitely a must-watch! There are many details and callbacks from the previous films, even though part 6 takes a slightly different approach compared to the earlier entries.
The film was directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, with the screenplay written by Guy Busick, Lori Evans Taylor, and Jon Watts. Like the others, this installment was also filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
The lead roles are played by:
Kaitlyn Santa Juana, as Stefanie
Teo Briones, as Charlie, Stefanie’s brother
Richard Harmon, as Erik, a cousin
There are several more supporting roles, but one you can’t miss is Tony Todd as the mysterious William—a character he portrayed in all the previous films. Sadly, this was his final film, as he has passed away.
The movie was released in May 2025.
Here’s a very brief summary without spoilers:
Stefanie Reyes (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) begins having recurring nightmares about a restaurant located at the top of a tower that collapsed in the 1960s. She soon discovers these visions mirror those her grandmother, Esther, had before narrowly escaping a disaster in 1968. However, that event set off a chain reaction of unintended victims—including their descendants. Now Stefanie must protect her family—especially her brother Charlie—from Death’s relentless list of targets, because according to cosmic rules, those who escape their fate must still pay the ultimate price.

Een tijdje geleden hebben we deze film gekeken in de bioscoop en als je de eerdere films ook hebt gekeken is dit zeker een aanrader!
Er komen veel details terug van vorige films ondanks dat in deel 6 alles wel een beetje anders gaat dan de vorige films.
De film is geregiseerd door Zach Lipovsky en Adam B. Stein. Maar het scenario is geschreven door Guy Busick, Lori Evans Taylor en Jon Watts.
Ook deze film is weer opgenomen in Vancouver, Canada.

En er zijn nog meer ondersteunende rollen toeverdeeld maar die van Tony Todd mag zeker niet ontbreken als de mysterieuze William, hij speelde in alle voorgaande films ook mee. Helaas was dit zijn laatste film want hij is overleden.

Stefanie Reyes (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) ervaart herhaaldelijke nachtmerries over een restaurant bovenaan een toren die in de jaren 60 instortte. Ze ontdekt dat dit dezelfde visioenen zijn die haar grootmoeder Esther had tijdens een ramp in 1968, waarbij ze ontsnapte aan de dood. Door die gebeurtenis ontstond er echter een keten van onbedoelde slachtoffers—inclusief de nakomelingen ervan. Nu moet Stefanie haar familie — met name haar broer Charlie — beschermen tegen Deaths meedogenloze lijst van slachtoffers, want volgens kosmische regels zullen degenen die ontkenden aan hun lot, alsnog het ultieme prijs betalen.
