The first time I watched this show, I was 16 years old and watching it with my boyfriend at the time. back then, I definitely found it a lot scarier than I do now 😝
The series is described as a mix of fantasy and a police procedural ✨ Almost everything takes place in Portland, Oregon.
The story follows Nick Burkhardt, a homicide detective. His life completely flips upside down when he suddenly starts seeing people’s “true forms”—in other words, terrifying monsters! 👹😱 Not everyone has an inner “monster,” though 🤫
The fact that he can see them makes him a “Grimm,” meaning his ancestors could see these creatures too. 📜⚔️ This instantly makes it Nick’s duty to protect humanity from these mythological beings… even though not all of them are actually evil! 🐺❤️
